holy crap not even my father's 91 Previa had 300000k on it. This guy definitely drove it.

Big deal. That is 411,000 kilometers, not miles.

The average is 20,000km a year, and this one is pretty much triple that

I put almost 250k miles on a 1995 Neon, all I ever did to it was change the oil. The suspension was trashed but it still ran fine when I gave it away. My 99 Durango on the other hand needed an intake manifold gasket at 30k, trans rebuild at 35k and now with only 65k on it the rear brake line rusted through and it won't stop anymore.

Limo companies can put up to 120,000 miles on a car each year. 500,000 without a rebuild is not uncommon.

My mom's 01 durango has about 200km on it, and it's never had any major problems like that

Still no big deal. People with long commutes, sales reps, and other people who drive for a living do that with no problem. It is 50k per year. No biggie. 150 mile round trip commute per day will do that. That is not uncommon at all. Hundreds of thousands of people do that each day.

The 01's got the 4.7 liter engine, it was much better than the 5.1 that's in mine. My Brother also owned an 01 with the 4.7 and never had any trouble with it either.

How did it not die?

I have to wonder if it needs more than "strut, etc." $800 for this is...it's not a great car, but dang!

We hit ~267k miles on a 2000 before my brother crashed it into a truck in 2010.

I once saw a 2008 Crown Vic for sale with 591,000 kms. It was a cop car, and then it was a taxi. The long and short of it, is over that cars life, it averaged 269 kms per day!!
